Robin Williams; Tears of A Clown

People say I'm the life of the party cuz' I tell a joke or two
Although I might be laughing loud and hearty, deep inside I'm blue...
So take a good look at my face
You'll see my smile looks out of place
If you look closer its easy to trace
The Tracks of My Tears...
(Smokey Robinson)

The Tears of A Clown, When There's No One Around...

We never know another's pain, only the image they CHOOSE to show the public...

May he be at peace. May he and his Family find peace in knowing that he brought such joy to so many. His life was not in vain, may we all be so lucky. Sorry he decided to go so soon. He will be missed...

  2. He was a fine man and a genius of a comic. His pain must have been very deep. So sad to have him die so young.

  4. I can empathize with him. Sometimes the sadness and pain inside is so overwelming, but if we let others know how empty or hollow we feel inside then they too will be overwelmed. So we hold it in and hope it will pass. It rarely does, and the darkness spreads deeper. My life is private and the depression sometimes threatens to drown me. His life was open for all to see and judge. He had no real privacy, and then to find out he had Parkinsons...the thought of what life would be like because of that illness must have been too much. He was a comedic icon and will be remembered for his achievements on stage and his generosity and compassion off stage. I thank you, Mr. Williams, for bringing laughter to my life even when I thought I would never smile again.

  5. Dear Anonymous (Sept 6),

I am just seeing your post. Obviously I don't know who you are, if we are friends, if we are close Friends. I don't know... What I do know however, is that you need never feel all alone... ALWAYS there is someone willing to share your load, help ease your pain, or just to listen. Whatever it is that you need at that time... Let folks who love you help you... That is so hard for so many of us. You are not alone in that respect either.

Assuming we are Friends, you have my contact info. When that old drowning feeling comes over you and you need a reason, a reminder, to smile, PLEASE call me. If you know me, you know I've got jokes OR alternatively, if you are interested, I usually have sound advice... So PLEASE My Friend, Do Not Suffer in Silence. I am here for you whenever you need me to do what ever you need me to do to get you through.

If you are not a personal Friend, same for you. ALWAYS, ALWAYS there is someone who loves you and wants to be there for you. Don't shut them out. Let them help you...

That's What Friends Are For... Keep Smiling!

    With ABSOLUTE Sincerity,
    ~ Miss Higgi
